how to delete all assignments in google classroom

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Google Classroom doesn't have a built-in feature to delete all assignments at once. However, you can individually delete assignments. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Open Google Classroom:

  2. Access the Class:

    • Click on the class where you want to delete assignments.
  3. View Assignments:

    • Navigate to the "Classwork" tab to view all assignments.
  4. Delete an Assignment:

    • Click on the assignment you want to delete.
    • In the top-right corner of the assignment, click on the three dots ("More") icon.
    • Select "Delete."
  5. Confirm Deletion:

    • Confirm that you want to delete the assignment.
  6. Repeat for Each Assignment:

    • Unfortunately, you'll need to repeat these steps for each assignment you want to delete.

Remember, if there have been submissions or grades associated with an assignment, deleting it will also remove those records.

If you have a large number of assignments to delete, and Google Classroom hasn't introduced a batch deletion feature since my last update, you might want to explore using Google Apps Script to automate this process. However, writing scripts requires some programming knowledge.

Always check for updates or changes in Google Classroom features, as Google may introduce new functionalities over time. If there have been updates since my last information update in January 2022, you can refer to Google's official documentation or support resources for the most accurate and up-to-date guidance
